First open water!
It may be a small opening, but it seems that it is almost time for heat and wind to start moving docks away from the cottages.

Escape to cottages
Several requests about ability to drive into ELCA territory. Well, that is impossible at present. Also, using a snowmobile or atv presents some problems on icy hills.
But, 911 Clarke is a good place to park and snowmobile into East Bay, or to walk into the cottage as this photo shows.
